Daging Masak Merah ( Stir Fried Beef in Chilli Sauce)
650 gm of beef 4 cloves of garlic (crushed and chopped) 1 onion (thinly sliced) 1 red chilli (slice the chilli thinly) 2 cm ginger (thinly sliced) 1cm galangal (thinly sliced) 2 tablespoons of oysters sauce 2 tablespoons of chilli sauce 1 teaspoon of sugar Pinch of salt 1 teaspoon of squid liquid (Nampla Sauce) 1 tablespoon of food colouring (Red) 3 tablespoons of palm oil
Instructions 1) Cut the beef in large cubes and marinate in the food colouring for 10 minutes. 2) Cut the beef in thin slices. 3) Heat the oil and sauté the garlic, chilli, ginger and galangal. 4) Add in the beef slices and stir. 5) Add in oysters sauce, chilli sauce , nampla sauce and stir. 6) Add in salt,sugar and stir. 7) Add in onions and stir. 8) Serve with white rice.
